Po Jung Chen

Po is an Actuarial Supervisor at Actuarial Factor S de RL de CV (Actuarial Factor’s entity in Mexico), his main responsibilities include the supervision of the actuarial team in Mexico, pricing, reserving, captive feasibility studies and actuarial reports for all lines of business and in all jurisdictions in the United States, Latin America, and the Caribbean.

Prior to joining Actuarial Factor, Po started his professional career as an Actuarial Intern at Lockton Mexico, his main tasks and focus were oriented to elaborate actuarial valuations and reports of employment liabilities for private pension plans and employee benefits. He then worked as a Consultant at Rainmaker Group, which specializes in captive reinsurance consultancy. He was in charge of a customer portfolio including some of Mexico’s and Latin America’s largest corporate groups, performing risk exposure analysis, bespoke insurance products design, reinsurance strategy advisory for captives, pricing, and reserve calculation for underwriting purposes.

Po graduated from Universidad La Salle (Mexico City) with a Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Science in 2018. He has currently passed P, FM, IFM, SRM, STAM, and LTAM exams of the Society of Actuaries (SOA) and he is working to becoming an Associate of the SOA.
