Perla Galindo

Perla Galindo is a Consulting Sr Actuary at Actuarial Factor’s office in Mexico since 2022. Her main responsibilities include pricing, reserving, captive feasibility studies and actuarial reports for all lines of business and in all jurisdictions in the United States, Latin America, and the Caribbean.

Prior to joining Actuarial Factor, Perla started her professional career as an actuary at Seguros Banorte in 2018. Her main tasks and focus as Head of Reserves were oriented to validate actuarial reserve valuations, elaborate performance analysis (backtesting methods) and coordinate the preparation and filing of regulatory reports in compliance with the Mexican regulatory requirements for various short-term and long-term life insurance portfolios. She also assumed the role of Project Coordinator, where she was appointed to oversee several projects, manage teams, and effectively utilize her skills to bring every project to completion.

Perla graduated from Universidad La Salle (Mexico City) with a Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Science in 2020, with a minor in Project Management. She is currently studying to obtain her credentials through the Society of Actuaries (SOA).
